Odell Beckham isn’t having a good day.
First, he tempted fate by posting a video of himself staring into the eclipse. Then, he went down in the first half of his team’s preseason game against the Browns with a knee injury.
Rough Tuesday.
In the second quarter of the Giants-Browns preseason clash, Beckham took a low hit to the knee area after catching an out route. Beckham immediately went to the ground, tossing his helmet as trainers rushed to his aid. OBJ walked off under his own power, but collapsed again on his way to the Giants locker room.
It’s the first preseason action for Beckham, who, along with Eli Manning, sat out the team’s first preseason game. OBJ spent the first nine games of his career recovering from a leg injury, but otherwise has had a healthy start to his NFL career.
Beckham finished last season with 101 catches for 1367 yards and 10 touchdowns. The injury might affect his fantasy football stock, where he is currently the third-highest rated receiver behind Antonio Brown and Julio Jones.
