Chiefs vs. Raiders Live Stream: How to Watch Thursday Night Football for Free

Not long ago, “Thursday Night Football” was synonymous with boring matchup between two bad teams, but that hasn’t been the case this season. And the trend continues in Week 7, as the Oakland Raiders host the Kansas City Chiefs on October 19.

Though Oakland has struggled to start the year, they still have the talent to give the 5-1 Chiefs problems in what should be an entertaining division battle.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:25 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS. If you don’t have cable or can’t get to a TV, here’s how to watch a live stream on your computer, tablet or streaming device:

Amazon Prime: If you have an Amazon Prime account, you can watch on your computer right here, or you can watch on an Amazon Fire TV or another streaming device via the Amazon Prime Video App. If you don’t have an account, you can start a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime.

CBS All Access: You can also watch via CBS All Access, a streaming service that provides access to CBS’ on-demand library and a live stream of your local CBS channel. <a href="http://CBS All Access” target=”_blank”>They offer a free seven-day trial.

2017 AFC West Standings

POS TEAM W-L DIFF STRK
1 Kansas City Chiefs 5-1 +47 L1
2 Denver Broncos 3-2 +11 L1
3 Los Angeles Chargers 2-4 -15 W2
4 Oakland Raiders 2-4 -2 L4

The Raiders in the midst of a four-game slide, dropping a once playoff hopeful squad to the bottom of the division. Offensively, the Raiders rank just 20th in the NFL in yards per play (5.1) and 18th in points per game (20.7), though those numbers should improve as Derek Carr continues to return to full health after his back injury.

The defensive side of the ball is where Oakland’s real issues reside, as they rank 27th in yards per play allowed (5.6), 29th in yards per pass attempt allowed (8.0) and 23rd in sack rate.

On the other side of the ball, the Chiefs had their usual problems last week with the Steelers, but they’ve mostly been explosive offensively, leading the league in yards per play (6.4) behind an efficient balance of run and pass.

Games on short weeks are always predictable, but oddsmakers expect Kansas City to have its way on the road against the Raiders, favoring the Chiefs by a field goal.
