The Washington Redskins (4-2) magically find themselves atop the NFC East after seven weeks. The New York Giants (1-6) have continued to implode, and begun selling off assets to accelerate the rebuilding process that should have began last season. The Giants host their NFC East rivals at MetLife Stadium as Week 8 action continues on Sunday.
The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Fox in select areas (coverage map here). If the game is on in your market and you don’t have cable or can’t get to a TV, you can still watch a live stream of the game (or DVR it) on your computer, phone or streaming device by signing up for one of the following cable-free, live-TV streaming services:
Fox (live in all 32 NFL markets) is included in FuboTV’s main package, which includes 85 total channels and is largely tailored towards sports fans. You can sign up for a free 7-day trial right here, and you can then watch a live stream of the game on your computer via the FuboTV website, or on your tablet or streaming device via the FuboTV app.
If you can’t watch live, FuboTV comes with 30 hours of Cloud DVR (with the ability to upgrade to 500 hours), as well as a handy “72-Hour Lookback” feature, which will allow you to watch the game on-demand up to three days after it airs even if you forgot to record it.

Preview
Washington held on to defeat the Dallas Cowboys 20-13 in Week 7 to claim first place in the division. Despite a plethora of injuries to key offensive players, Alex Smith squeezed just enough juice out of the Jay Gruden’s offense.
The Redskins have the easiest strength of schedule moving forward. The only team with a winning record — as of now — remaining on their slate, is the Houston Texans.
General manager David Gettleman finally starting restocking the cupboard with extra draft picks. In separate trades this week, cornerback Eli Apple (No. 10 pick in 2016) to the New Orleans in exchange for fourth and seventh-round draft picks, and All-Pro run-stuffing defensive tackle Damon Harrison to the Detroit Lions in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick. Janoris Jenkins may possibly be next.
The remnants of the first wave of the Giants exodus all remain on offense; Eli Manning, and a lot of shiny toys — Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham Jr,, Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram.
There are doubts about Eli’s ability to play any longer. While Eli still threw for over 300 yards in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football last week, they were hollow yards, as the offense struggled to move the football all game.
New York’s offensive line is still in serious needs of upgrades, as free agent acquisition Nate Solder may have to move to right tackle next year and be upgraded. It’s tough to pin this on Eli, who didn’t move to begin with, but is now a statue in his older age.
