Hardy finished with one point (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one assist and one steal in three minutes during Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Hardy, along with A.J. Lawson and Dwight Powell, secured a handful of minutes down the stretch Friday. With the game well in hand, the Mavericks were able to give their fringe players a rare opportunity to see playoff basketball. This is not something we should expect to see very often moving forward.

Latest Mavericks News
Jaden Hardy : Cracks rotation Friday
Hardy finished with one point (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one assist and one steal in three minutes during Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Hardy, along with A.J. Lawson and Dwight Powell, secured a handful of minutes down the stretch Friday. With the game well in hand, the Mavericks were able to give their fringe players a rare opportunity to see playoff basketball. This is not something we should expect to see very often moving forward.
Kyrie Irving : Gets hot late in victory
Irving finished with 21 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Despite a sluggish start to the game, Irving delivered when it mattered, helping the Mavericks to an emphatic victory. Both he and Luka Doncic are at the peak of their powers at the moment, much to the delight of the fans. A repeat performance in Game 4 will see Dallas on the cusp of an impressive first-round victory.
P.J. Washington : Ejected in Game 3 win
Washington chipped in 10 points (5-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 34 minutes before getting ejected from Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Washington was ejected following a scuffle with Russell Westbrook, much to the delight of the home fans. While losing a player is never a good thing, his energy and willingness to not back down proved a hit with the Dallas faithful. Before his premature exit, Washington managed to put together another strong performance. He will look to maintain that energy heading into Game 4 Sunday.
Luka Doncic : Briefly leaves Game 3
Doncic briefly left Friday's Game 3 versus the Clippers with 3:01 remaining in the first quarter with an apparent right knee issue, but he returned with 12 seconds to play in the quarter, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Doncic had a significant limp when he checked out of the game and went to the locker room. He put a brace on his right knee when he returned to the bench but quickly removed it before checking back into the game.
Daniel Gafford : Good to go Friday
Gafford (back) is available for Friday's Game 3 against the Clippers. Gafford has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday despite dealing with back spasms. Gafford should start at center for the third straight game to start the series.
Daniel Gafford : Present at shootaround
Gafford (back) was on the court and walking around during shootaround ahead of Friday's Game 3 versus the Clippers, Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News reports. Gafford is officially listed as questionable Friday due to back spasms. The 24-year-old big man's availability will likely be determined shortly before tipoff at 8 pm ET.
Daniel Gafford : Listed questionable for Friday
Gafford (back) is questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports. The questionable tag on Gafford is not surprising, as the big man missed Thursday's practice due to his lower back problem. If he can't go Friday, then Dereck Lively and Maxi Kleber are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper : Won’t play Friday
Prosper is out for Friday's Game 3 against the Clippers due to an ankle sprain he suffered in Thursday's practice, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports. Prosper's absence shouldn't significantly affect Dallas' playoff rotation. The rookie forward's next chance to suit up is Game 4 on Sunday.
