The veteran guard doesn't have a clear timetable for a return, though his next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Thunder. With Clarkson sidelined, Johnny Juzang and Isaiah Collier will likely see an uptick in playing time off the bench.

Latest Jazz News
Jordan Clarkson : Absence streak continues Sunday
Clarkson (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers. Clarkson will miss his fourth consecutive matchup due to left plantar fasciitis. The veteran guard doesn't have a clear timetable for a return, though his next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Thunder. With Clarkson sidelined, Johnny Juzang and Isaiah Collier will likely see an uptick in playing time off the bench.
Kyle Filipowski : Out again Sunday
Filipowski (lower leg) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers. Filipowski will miss a fifth straight game due to a left leg injury, including both halves of Utah's current back-to-back set. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Oklahoma City.
Lauri Markkanen : Scores 19 points Saturday
Markkanen notched 19 points (7-20 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 3-5 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 106-94 loss to the Mavericks. Markkanen had a rough shooting performance that included going 2-for-11 from beyond the arc, and there's no question the Jazz need more out of him, particularly when it comes to being an efficient scorer. Shooting woes aside, Markkanen remains a valuable fantasy commodity across all formats, and managers who have him rostered have to go through off games here and there, as Markkanen often posts solid stat lines that are more based on efficiency rather than volume. His body of work this season suggests this was nothing more than a subpar performance rather than a sign of things to come in the future.
John Collins : Sniffs double-double in loss
Collins finished with 16 points (6-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Saturday's 106-94 loss to the Mavericks. Collins struggled a bit with his shot, particularly from three-point range. Still, fantasy managers won't worry too much about his efficiency as long as he continues to put up solid numbers across the major categories. Collins finished just one rebound away from recording what would've been his fourth consecutive double-double. Furthermore, Collins is averaging 19.7 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest since becoming a starter nine games ago.
Walker Kessler : Fills stat sheet Saturday
Kessler posted 18 points (7-9 FG, 4-5 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, five blocks and three steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 106-94 loss to Dallas. The Jazz came up short against the Mavericks, but Kessler delivered one of his best fantasy performances of the campaign. This was his third double-double in four games since returning from a six-game absence due to a hip injury. Furthermore, Kessler now has seven double-doubles in 13 games while recording multiple blocks in all but two of those 13 appearances.
Micah Potter : Returning to bench Saturday
Potter is not in the Jazz's starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Mavericks. Potter started in his 2024-25 regular-season debut Wednesday against the Nuggets due to injuries to John Collins (knee), Lauri Markkanen (personal) and Kyle Filipowski (lower leg), and Potter finished with nine points, 16 rebounds, three assists and one block over 32 minutes. While Markkanen and Collins are available for Saturday's game, Potter could see some playing time off the bench due to Filipowski still being sidelined.
Svi Mykhailiuk : Back to bench Saturday
Mykhailiuk is not starting Saturday against the Mavericks. Mykhailiuk will return to the bench with Lauri Markkanen (personal) back in the starting unit after a one-game absence. Mykhailiuk had seven points, an assist and a steal across 21 minutes in a spot start against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Drew Eubanks : Cleared to play Saturday
Eubanks (knee) isn't included on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Mavericks. Eubanks played just one minute and 30 seconds in Wednesday's 122-103 loss to the Nuggets before leaving early with a bruised left knee, but two days off between games apparently provided sufficient recovery time for him. The Jazz will get Lauri Markkanen (personal) and John Collins (knee) back from one-game absences Saturday but will remain without Kyle Filipowski (lower leg), so Eubanks should be able to stick in the rotation as the primary backup to starting center Walker Kessler.
