Quarterback Kenny Pickett is changing NFL teams this offseason. He will also be switching his mailing address.
The TribLive.com’s Joanne Klimovich Harrop reported that Pickett’s Pittsburgh home in Cranberry, Pennsylvania is on the real estate market for $2.7 million.
The house, which was built in 2022, is located in Butler County, about 30 minutes north of Acrisure Stadium.
“I love this home,” said Sayward Lehman, Realtor with Piatt Sotheby’s International, via Harrop. “It is a beautiful home and has all the upgrades. It is being sold fully furnished. They spared no details on this home.”
Lehman also expressed that the home is expected to get a lot of interest.
Pickett moved into the house after the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him at No. 20 overall in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. Prior to that, Pickett played five seasons for the Pitt Panthers.
On March 15, the Steelers traded Pickett along with the No. 120 overall pick in the 2024 draft to the Philadelphia Eagles. In return, the Steelers received the No. 98 overall selection and two 2025 seventh-round choices.
Kenny Pickett Selling $2.7 Million Pittsburgh Home
Although Pittsburgh was a home away from home for Pickett because he spent his college years in the city, the quarterback is viewing his trade to the Eagles as a return home.
Pickett is from Oakhurst, New Jersey. That’s roughly 75 miles from Philadelphia in the heart of Jersey Shore territory, but Pickett grew up an Eagles fan.
With his move back home, Pickett is departing a six-bedroom, six-full bathroom, 8,756 square-foot house in Cranberry.
Pickett’s house for sale isn’t as extravagant as some NFL quarterback’s mansions, such as Russell Wilson’s in Denver. But the home appears to be three levels based on the pictures provided from the listing. The main level features a giant open floor plan with modern-looking fixtures.
Overall, the house includes 12 rooms, including a giant walk-in closet and laundry room on the upper level. There is also a mudroom, finished basement and four-car garage.
“This home is a must-see,” Lehman said.
Steelers Moving on at QB With Russell Wilson, Justin Fields
The Steelers sandwiched Pickett’s trade with a pair of other quarterback moves during the first week of free agency — signing Russell Wilson and trading for Justin Fields.
The original plan from Steelers general manager Omar Khan appeared to be to have Pickett compete with Wilson for the starting job. But in the days after the deal, Pickett didn’t respond well to the Steelers adding Wilson.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac reported Pickett canceled a workout with teammates the day after Wilson agreed to join the Steelers.
That left the Steelers little choice but to trade Pickett for a fresh start. Then, they added Fields the following day.
Pickett departs Pittsburgh after going 14-10 as a starting quarterback. He averaged 6.3 yards per pass with 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
On March 18, Pickett posted a farewell message to the city of Pittsburgh on Instagram.
“I gave everything that I had there and loved all my teammates and the coaches that I came across,” said Pickett. “Some absolute great memories that I’ll take forever and life long friends.
“Talking to the guys after it all went down, just grateful for the time that we had together. Just wish everyone over there nothing but the best.”
