Rob Gronkowski has a way with words once again.

Rob Gronkowski used two words to describe the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ 2021 schedule — Gronkalicious and Buctastic.

OK, so neither of Gronkowki’s Gronkisms will show up in a dictionary, but he showed off linguistic skills with Webster-approved words with “Gronk Libs” instead of Mab Libs in the Bucs’ schedule release video. The video climbed to 75,400 views in less than 15 hours.

“Hey Bucs fans, this is Rob Gronkowski and the biggest season ever is here, and we’re going to have some fun with it,” Gronkowski said in the video.

Gronkowski first named a certain number of adjectives, nouns, verbs, plural nouns, and a boy’s name to set up reading off the Bucs 2021 schedule. Adjectives included “jumpy (and) strong.” Nouns were “helicopter, water, building, boat, dinosaur, park, public relations, Pokemon, and Rob.” Verbs included “walk, karate chop, skiing, boxes, run, (and) fighting.” Plural nouns were “cities, birds, flags, Godzillas. Gronkowski lastly chose “Bear” for the boy’s name.

Gronkowski Has Fun With the Schedule

Week 1: vs. Dallas Cowboys

“The Cowboys will need to trade their boots for flags when they come to Tampa. It’s true because you raise the flags here in Tampa. That’s the only way you’re winning,” Gronkowski said in the video.

Week 2: vs. Atlanta Falcons

“I hope the Falcons fly away from Tampa with a strong public relations. Me too because who can’t use a good PR team,” Gronkowski said. “I need one.”

Week 3: at Los Angeles Rams

“Hollywood here we come. You know what they say. Lights, camera, walk,” Gronkowski said.

Week 4: at New England Patriots

“I know people have New England circled on their calendars,” Gronkowski said. “Instead of circles, I draw birds on my calendar. That’s because I’m an artist.”

Week 5: vs. Miami Dolphins

“Miami isn’t the only place that has dolphins. I see dolphins in the Bay skiing all the time,” Gronkowski said. “I love dolphins but not these Dolphins.”

Week 6: at Philadelphia Eagles

“When I’m in Philly, I order my cheesesteaks with water and building. That don’t make no sense at all,” Gronkowski said.

Week 7: vs. Chicago Bears

“If you’re going to wrestle a bear, make sure to pack your helicopter,” Gronkowski said. “That’s true because you’ve got to get the ‘f’ out of there if you’re wrestling a bear.”

Week 8: at New Orleans Saints

“When we go to New Orleans, I’ll make sure to get a beignet. I hear they go great with Pokemon,” Gronkowski said.

Week 9: Bye

“On our bye week, I plan to rest and take up karate with cities,” Gronkowski said. “I usually do. Hit up different cities, do some karate, come back after the bye.”

Week 10: at Washington Football Team

“If I ever got to change my name, I’d change it to Bear,” Gronkowski said.

Week 11: vs. New York Giants

“If New York is the Big Apple, Tampa is the Big Boat. That’s the truth. Big pirate boat,” Gronkowski said.

Week 12: at Indianapolis Colts

“Getting an extra opponent this year is like getting extra Rob with Godzillas,” Gronkowski said. “That’s true because I always go off versus them, and I’m always like Godzilla when I play them. Knock ’em around silly.”

Week 13: at Atlanta Falcons

“Some call it soda, Atlanta calls it Coke,” Gronkowski said. “I call it park.”

Week 14: vs. Buffalo Bills

“I bet the Bills are going to be happy to come to Tampa because it’s so cold and jumpy in Buffalo,” Gronkowski said. “That the truth because you’re freezing and you’re jumping up and down to stay warm.”

Week 15: vs. New Orleans Saints

“The Saints come marching in, I go flying in because I’m a warrior,” Gronkowski said. “Actually, yes, I am a pilot.”

Week 16: at Carolina Panthers

“I know people think the Panthers mascot looks like a bear, but I think he looks more like a dinosaur,” Gronkowski said. “He sure does.”

Week 17: at New York Jets

“They say New York is a city that never sleeps, but I think it never boxes,” Gronkowski said. “Doesn’t really make sense, but we’ll just go with it.”

Week 18: vs. Carolina Panthers

“Saints march, Falcons fly, and Panthers when they come to town,” Gronkowski said.

“Alright, time to go for two. Let’s go,” he concluded.

Franchise High for Prime Time

Tampa will play a franchise-high five prime time games in 2021 according to WTSP’s Grace Remington.

Greg Auman of The Athletic announced those matchups shortly before the NFL’s official schedule release on Wednesday. The Bucs prime time games include Week 1 vs. the Cowboys, Week 4 at the Patriots, Week 6 at the Eagles, Week 11 against the Giants, and Week 15 vs. the Saints.

All of the Bucs primetime games hold scintillating storylines, starting with the Cowboys. It will be Dak Prescott’s first game back from a season-ending knee injury, but he will have to face a Bucs defense that returns all of its starters.

Bucs-Patriots figures to be the NFL’s game of the year for the regular season as Brady will face longtime former head coach Bill Belichick’s squad. Of course, it’s a homecoming for former Patriot Gronkowski, too.

Being that Brady doesn’t forget things as a competitor, facing the Eagles in Week 6 holds extra meaning. Brady’s last Super Bowl loss came against the Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

Tampa’s return to the Meadowlands against the Giants will be a rematch of a tight Monday Night Football game from last season. The Bucs escaped the upset as safety Antoine Winfield Jr. denied the Giants in the end zone.

The final primetime game of the regular season really has some extra bulletin board material for the Bucs. New Orleans steamrolled the Bucs on Sunday Night Football last season. The Saints will also have a new quarterback, which could be former Bucs No. 1 draft pick Jameis Winston.
