A Gracie family member is finally back in the UFC. Rolles Gracie (3-0) revealed on Twitter that he has inked a multi-fight deal with the promotion and is expected to make his UFC debut against Mostapha Al-Turk at UFC 109 in February.
Gracie, the son of Rolls Gracie, made his mixed martial arts debut in the now-defunct International Fight League, where he scored a submission victory over Sam Holloway for the New York Pitbulls. Gracie has fought twice since his debut, both times for the Art of War promotion in China.
He is a second-degree blackbelt in jiu-jitsu and is expected to instantly become the best submission player in the UFC’s heavyweight division.
UFC 109 is expected to take place Feb. 6 in Las Vegas, and could feature the return of Georges St. Pierre.
