Todd Duffee made an impact in his UFC debut, and he’ll look to do it again in his second bout for the promotion in May.
Duffee (6-0) knocked out Tim Hague in seven seconds at UFC 102 in August, the fastest official knockout in UFC history. Duffee was scheduled to return in December against Paul Buentello, but a back injury sidelined the massive Indiana native.
Duffee is currently scheduled to face veteran Mike Russow (12-1) at UFC 114 on May 29 in Las Vegas. Russow’s last appearance came at UFC 102 as well, scoring a decision over Justin McCully. Russow’s lone loss came at the hands of Sergei Kharitonov at PRIDE 33 in early 2007, and he’s racked up eight straight victories since that loss.
UFC 114 will take place in conjunction with the UFC’s now-annual Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. The show could be headlined by Brock Lesnar’s return to the Octagon. The long-awaited grudge match between Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans will take place on the card as well.
