Sixth seed LSU and No. 11 seed Iowa State meet in the NCAA tournament on Friday.

LSU vs Iowa State Preview

LSU begins its NCAA tournament journey with a new coach, while Iowa State looks to further its program resurgence.

Kevin Nickelberry took over LSU hoops after the firing of Will Wade due to alleged NCAA violations. The Tigers notably reached the Sweet Sixteen of the tournament last time the team played in the Big Dance with an interim coach.

Iowa State meanwhile turned things around this season on first-year head coach T.J. Otzelberger.
