Sony announced two new mid-range Android handsets, the Xperia SP and the Xperia L. There have been a few leaks regarding the specs, but not too many details were given at the time. More details on specs have surfaced. The Xperia SP will feature a 4.6-inch display, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8MP camera, 8GB of storage, microSD card and NFC technology. The SP will be available in white, red and black.
The Xperia L will feature a 4.3-inch display, FWVGA display, a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 8GB of storage, extended microSD card slot and NFC technology. Both devices will run on Android 4.1. The Xperia L will be an entry-level device, but is expected to give users the “perfect smartphone experience,” says Sony. The Xperia L will have an 8MP camera featuring Exmor RS camera. You will be able to take great photos at night.
The Xperia SP and Xperia L will be available by the end of June.
