Sprint announced this morning that it started rolling out Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update, to its Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 customers. According to Sprint, it could take a few weeks to receive the OTA update on your tablet. Once you receive the update notification, it should only take a few minutes for it to install.
The new update will bring the following features to your tablet:
- Google Now – Will give you the right information you need.
- Project Butter – Your UI will run smooth.
- If a widget is too big, it can resize all on its own.
- You will be able to send email. view pictures and return phone calls from the notifications screen.
