Twitter Co-Founder Biz Stone Launches Jelly, a Social Q&A Network

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has announced the launch of Jelly, a Q&A search engine available for iOS and Android. The Jelly app lets you ask questions to people in your social networks. You may even find yourself answering questions as well. You can forward questions to people outside of the app so they can still help. The app encourages you to take photos from your social networks in order to get you the correct answers. You can get creative by drawing on your images, crop, reframe, and zoom to get more specific details. Jelly will notify you when you receive an answer.

“No matter how sophisticated our algorithms become, they are still no match for the experience, inventiveness, and creativity of the human mind,” reads a company blog post. “Jelly is a new way to search and something more — it makes helping other people easy and fun.”
