After some intriguing screenshots were leaked, smartphone fans started raving about Sony’s D6503, aka “Sirius.” The phone, which will somewhat resemble the Xperia Z1 pictured above, is expected to boast some powerful photography capabilities. Here are some of the juiciest rumors we’ve heard so far.

If you use your smartphone primarily as a tool for capturing photos and videos, then the Sirius phone is gonna hit you right in the sweet spot. Hot Hardware reports that the Sirius phone will have native 4K video support, plus a 16 megapixel camera. However, other sources say the camera will actually be 20.7 megapixels. Users can expect features like Steady Shot, geotagging, touch capture, and a photo editing suite.

3. The Sirius Name Will Likely Be Dropped

Between satellite radio companies, famous characters from “Harry Potter,” and dozens of other potential points of confusion, most people expect that the “Sirius” phone won’t actually hit stores with that name attached. Insiders like The Droid Guy expect this codename for the phone to be replaced by something like “the Xperia Z2.”
4. Better Battery Life
Interesting how slow (in light of Moore's Law) innovation on battery life & size has been; we need a game-changer: http://t.co/mGezo0ilXH

In their rumor round-up about the Sirius phone, UberGizmo notes that the phone is expected to get a boost in the battery life department. They predict an increase from 3,000mAh to “a whopping 3,700mAh.”
5. Water-Resistant Design
The coolest gadget every bathroom should have. Equip ur shower curtain with a waterproof pocket for your smartphone.http://t.co/nJD6AQQmk7

Softpedia thinks it’s likely that the Z2 will have the same water-resistant design features as the Z1 line. That’s great news for smartphone fans who don’t want to cover the sleek lines of this phone with a bulky, waterproof case.
