Images have leaked of the LG G Vista, an upcoming smartphone from LG. There’s a lot of sketchy details and contradictory info out there. Here’s what we know so far about the LG G Vista phone.


1. Nobody Really Knows What the LG G Vista Is Right Now

There are tons of conflicting reports about what, exactly, the LG G Vista will be called on release. According to GSM Arena, the LG G Vista will be released as the LG G Pro 2 Lite. However, not all sources agree.

Digital Trends has referred to the G Vista as a a “G3 lookalike,” while Gotta Be Mobile refers to the LG G Vista as the “LG G3 Lite.”


2. LG G Vista Release Date Is July 2014

According to GSM Arena, the LG G Vista is expected to drop sometime in July. It is likely that it will be debut around the same time the LG G3 goes on sale. Gotta Be Mobile says that the G3 will be hitting the US on July 16.


3. LG G Vista Coming to Verizon

While it’s not yet clear which carriers will offer the LG G Vista, at least one US carrier will stock the phone. Both Android Central and Phone Arena have reported Verizon will get this LG phone.


4. The LG G Vista May Not Get Released

While some sources are confident that the LG G Vista will get a US release, a few blogs caution that the G Vista might never launch. Pocketnow writes:

“It’s entirely possible that this phone will never see the light, but given the track record of @evleaks [who shared leaked images of the G Vista online], it’s looking to be fairly likely.”

“The rumor mill suggests that the LG G Vista could be the Verizon version of a device known as the LG G Pro 2 Lite. As that name suggests, the G Pro 2 Lite would likely be a toned down version of the G Pro 2, which includes a 5.9-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM and a 2.26GHz quad-core processor.”
