The iPhone 7 has just been announced, and people are already wondering how it stacks up against one of its biggest competitors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the Galaxy S7. The competition between these two phone giants isn’t nearly as fierce anymore, since Samsung had to recall its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone last week due to reports of exploding batteries. The recall came less than a month after the phone debuted. If you’re still interested in getting a Galaxy Note 7 once it’s back on the market. you might be wondering how it compares to the iPhone 7. How do they compare in terms of GB, processor speed, camera, and other features?

The iPhone 7 Plus and the Galaxy Note 7 weigh about the same, but the iPhone 7 Plus’s internal battery has much greater storage. However, the Galaxy Note can be expanded. The Note has slightly higher resolution, Gorilla Glass 5, and always-on technology that works with a stylus. Both phones now can brag that they are water resistant, but Samsung’s may have the edge since it can last over an hour in over one meter of water. You’ll have to pay a couple hundred dollars more for the Samsung Galaxy Note, however, and the iPhone 7 Plus boasts a dual-camera that the Samsung doesn’t have. The Samsung also features an Iris scanner while the iPhone 7 has a fingerprint sensor. The Iris scanner may or may not be an advantage, depending on if you mind having to take off your glasses to use it. In general, both can be great options, provided that Samsung is able to fix its exploding battery issue and get the phone back on the market.
