The first three years of a child’s development are so, so important. That’s the time when they learn about shapes, color, speech, and can have an impact on how they find learning later on.
But, as you’ve most likely worked out, trying to get a small child to learn isn’t the easiest of things in the world given their shorter attention span. That’s where the Aila Sit and Play Virtual Early Preschool Learning System comes in.
To say the Aila tablet is magical would be an understatement. Imagine if you packed all the good elements of kids’ TV into a tablet that thrives on shorter learning sessions. That’s essentially what the Aila tablet is.
Each lesson is as long as your child wants. Really young kids will sit and watch for a few minutes, tootle off and do something else, then come back a short while later to carry on. Slightly older kids, however, will get a kick out of sitting down and watching the tablet for longer periods.
That’s the brilliance of the Aila AI learning system. It doesn’t force kids to need to sit down for hours at a time. Each song, story, or problem-solving exercise packs in enough learning regardless of whether it’s in two-minute blasts or over longer periods.
It’s so simple to use as well. The power and volume buttons are on the back, which is a smart design choice because it places them out of the way of tiny fingers. Plus parents can control how loud it is. BLISS!
The really clever bit is the button on the front to pop in and out of lessons. Want to change the lesson? Just hit that button and download a new one. It’s all so intuitive.
To recap, the learning side of things is brilliant, it’s easy to use, but what about the build quality? Again, the Aila excels.
The tablet is crisp, and everything I’ve tested on it looks great. The really important part, for me at least, is the case. Specifically, the tablet is part of the case, rather than being placed into the case. That means kids are extremely unlikely to pull the tablet out and damage it.
Not only that, the chunky green stand means you can plop the tablet down on a table or highchair, or because of how ergonomic it is, they can hold it.
Honestly, the worst part of the Aila Sit and Play is coming up with things to mark it down for. The build quality is superb, the lesson plans smart, the screen is clean, and it’s easy to use even for the most tech-adverse parents.
If you’re after something that’s going to give your child the best start they can get, you really won’t go wrong with the Aila Sit and Play.
