Jenny McCarthy has snagged our favorite New Kid Donnie Wahlberg. That’s right. Wahlberg has popped the question to McCarthy and is officially off the market. Read on for the facts.
1. Jenny McCarthy Announced the Engagement on The View This Morning
McCarthy unveiled the ring on The View, exclaiming, “I just got engaged! It’s a yellow sapphire.” Towards the end of The View, Wahlberg joined his new fiancee to announce a performance by Christina Perri on the show.

2. There Is No Wedding Date Yet

Apparently, there is no wedding date set yet, but McCarthy is excited to plan. This will be the second trip down the aisle for both, but it seems like this one will stick. McCarthy has said that the two of them get along so well because they have similar work ethics with crazy schedules and they are both single parents. Wahlberg has two sons from his nine-year marriage to Kim Fey, which ended in 2008. McCarthy’s son Evan is from her marriage to director John Asher, which ended in 2005.

McCarthy originally slipped Donnie Wahlberg her number and he didn’t call her for months. They met on The Andy Cohen show and then months later, Wahlberg came on McCarthy’s late night show, where they shared a steamy lollipop-sucking session. McCarthy slipped Donnie her number after the show, but he decided not to call her. After a while, he decided that he should call her and the two had an amazing first date.
