Chris Bukowski, ‘Bachelorette’ Party Crasher: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

The Bachelorette gets a big surprise with an unexpected guest on tonight’s episode …Chris Bukowski, Bachelorette alum and owner of award-winning bar The Bracket Room.

1. Bukowski Gets Rejected as He Shows Up on The Bachelorette Premiere

The producers decided to throw a curve ball by bringing back an old contestant on the premiere of The Bachelorette this season. Reportedly, Bukowski shows up at the mansion and is waiting at the gates with a packed suitcase, ready to be on the show. Then, Andi gets told that Chris Bukowski is there and wants to be on the show. Andi Dorfman refuses to see him and says she does not want him to be on the show. Bukowski leaves and doesn’t even get to see Andi Dorfman, according to Reality Steve.

2. Dorfman Didn’t Even Know Who Bukowski Was …

Reportedly, the new Bachelorette Andi Dorfman had no idea who Bukowski was when she was told he had arrived to try to be on the show. Reality Steve writes:

Chris is sitting there telling production he wants to be on the show and wants to at least see Andi to tell her himself, production tells him they’ll get Chris Harrison, he comes out, Chris tells Chris he wants to be on the show, Chris Harrison goes back in and tells Andi Chris Bukowski came on his own, he’s wants to meet her, and what does she want to do. Andi tells him that she doesn’t think it’d be fair to the other guys who she’s already met, so tell him no. Chris Harrison goes back out and tells Chris Andi said no, Chris begs, but eventually just gives up and leaves … I don’t know if Andi even knew who he was. If she did, an acknowledgment she knew who he was was never shown.

Chris Harrison apparently had to explain to Dorfman who Bukowski was and what shows he had been on.

3. He May Be Appearing on Bachelor In Paradise This Summer

The premiere of Bachelor In Paradise is August 4, 2014 and it’s rumored that Bukowski will be appearing on the show. This is another show under the Bachelor umbrella, and ABC describes the series as:

Some of The Bachelor’s biggest stars and villains are back. They all left The Bachelor or The Bachelorette with broken hearts, but now they know what it really takes to find love, and on Bachelor in Paradise they’ll get a second chance to find their soul mates … Contestants will live together in an isolated romantic paradise and, over the course of six episodes, we’ll follow these former bachelors and bachelorettes as they explore new romantic relationships. America will watch as they fall in love or go through renewed heartbreak.

Reportedly, there will be twists, unexpected guests, and the show will also be hosted by Chris Harrison.

4. This Is the Second Time He’s Been Dumped on The Bachelorette

Previously, Bukowski appeared on the 8th season of The Bachelorette, featuring Emily Maynard. Bukowski seemed to have fallen hard for Maynard, so it was difficult when he was eliminated after the hometown dates. His response to his being sent home by Maynard was:

Ugh, fuck. It’s definitely hard to say goodbye to someone you love, and I haven’t felt the way I had in a long time until I met Emily. She made me believe again in falling in love. Everything seemed like it was perfect and I loved the girl, and I thought she loved me back. It sucks. It’s going to be weird waking up tomorrow and knowing there’s no future with this girl. I’m 10 times the man of all those fucking dudes that are still there right now. She did break my heart and I still don’t understand. No clue at all.

5. Bukowski’s Also Appeared on Bachelor Pad

You may have seen Chris Bukowski on the third season of Bachelor Pad. Bukowski jumped into the show, reportedly on the rebound from his rejection by Emily Maynard. Us Weekly previously wrote:

Dumped by Maynard, 28, on The Bachelorette’s July 2 episode two weeks before the finale, Bukowski rushed right into the Bachelor Pad mansion following their split, and romanced fellow contestant Jamie Otis before falling hard for Newlon.
