This has been an emotional season for Alfonso Ribeiro on Dancing With the Stars. While Alfonso has an estimated net worth of $5 million, he didn’t join the show for the money. At first, Alfonso joked that he joined DWTS to lose weight, but this competition has clearly meant so much more to him. Alfonso has suffered several injuries this season, with one that almost took him out of the competition. Last week, he even broke down crying on the show, partly because of the pain and partly because of his dedication to the show.
Alfonso has grown to love the other contestants and pros as family and the support of his fans has been truly uplifting for him. In turn, Alfonso wanted to announce on the air that his wife Angela was pregnant with their second child together.
As the competition comes to a close, many believe that Alfonso is the one to beat and that he will take home the mirrorball trophy. Hopefully his injury from last week didn’t affect his votes.
