Eddie Lucas’ Girlfriend Amy From ‘Below Deck’
Eddie Lucas is a veteran cast member on the reality show Below Deck and all the girls love him. He’s reserved yet fun and he’s been taken since he first started appearing on the show. Lucas’ girlfriend is named Amy and they live in Maryland, where Lucas works on a tugboat. Unfortunately, they have a very rocky relationship and Lucas’ working on yachts causes issues between the two of them. In fact, last season, Amy cheated on sweet Eddie Lucas. As a result, the two have severe trust issues with each other and Lucas ends up calling it quits with her. However, the two still try to work things out later on in the season and it seems that the two get back on track despite fellow cast member Rocky telling the other cast members about the fling she had with Lucas. Eddie Lucas gets uneasy when his girlfriend goes out with other friends because of her infidelity.
Last season on “Below Deck”, cast member Amy Johnson confessed to Eddie that she had a crush on him. Since then, Johnson has met Eddie’s girlfriend and has said she likes her very much.
Eddie has said that trust is vital when you have a long-distance relationship and communication is key, which can be difficult when you’re away working on a yacht.
When playing “Marry Shag or Kill”, cast members Kate and Amy both said they would marry Eddie.
Captain Lee talked to Eddie about his relationship with his own wife and told him that she just deals with him being away because she knows it’s difficult for him. He said that relationships are about being happy or they aren’t really worth it.
Eddie also made a rule for himself to not hook up with co-workers, but he made an exception with cast member Rocky this season, which turned out to be a mistake.
Captain Lee warns Eddie Lucas that he needs to keep his head in the game and stay focused on his job, to not keep worrying about his girlfriend at home this season.
Eddie strongly advises against getting into a relationship on board. It’s not always the best idea to date people you work with them, especially when you live with them in such close quarters.
Viewers have seen Eddie get frustrated with his relationship when talking to his girlfriend on the phone aboard the ship. The distance does not help their relationship at all.
