You guys didn’t think that Cookie’s sister was going to show up and not cause a little bit of trouble?
Incorrect.
Candace (Vivica A. Fox) isn’t going away any time soon. In fact, she and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) will join forces in tonight’s brand-new episode of Empire, titled “Sinned Against,” as they try to find their other sister Carol (Tasha Smith). Check out the latest preview for tonight’s episode:
The two sisters are heading back to home to Philadelphia and will have to join forces with a criminal to help find Carol. But while Cookie is certainly focused on finding her sister, there’s more than just family issues to deal with.
Cookie will also discover the secret that Laz (Adam Rodriguez) has been hiding. He was involved with the gang that kidnapped Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray). Y’all can only imagine the kind of drama that will unfold one Cookie learns her new guy had a major hand in her son’s disappearance. It won’t be pretty.
Meanwhile, back home, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) will collaborate with an artist named Skye Summers (Alicia Keys) to work on his own music. Summers will also be the latest artist added to the Empire roster.
And what about Anika (Grace Gealey)? She hasn’t told Hakeem that she’s pregnant with his child yet, but that conversation is going to happen sooner rather than later. It also will throw a serious wrench in Hakeem’s relationship with current girlfriend Laura (Jamila Velazquez).
Roxanne Ford (Tyra Ferrell) is also slated to return tonight, intent on taking down Lucious (Terrence Howard) again.
