Here’s what you need to know about the Y&R’s cast ahead of its 2016 TV return:

One of the relationships that’ll continue facing complications is the one between Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James). Hilary has made it crystal clear that Neil (Kristoff St. John) is the object of her desire. However, Neil — although he couldn’t resist her recent kiss — has been extremely hesitant. On Thursday’s episode, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) orchestrated a plan with Neil to change Hilary’s feelings, which just may work to his advantage.

Meanwhile, Devon continues vying for Hilary’s love. Prior to finding Neil in his planned lip-lock with Nikki, Hilary delivered Devon a positive message.

“I hope this year treats you right.”

Devon wished her well back; she smiled.

“You too.”

Time will tell whether Neil’s plan to send Hilary back into the arms of his son will work or not.

Kisses dominated Genoa City on New Year’s Eve as Victor (Eric Braeden) smooched Nikki (prior to Neil), Adam (Justin Hartley) kissed Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Jack (Peter Bergman) laid it on Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) after they mutually acknowledged their friction.

On the other hand, Billy brought in the New Year on the Newman building parking lot floor, as he was beat down by Gill the bookie and his henchmen. Making matters worse, Noah (Robert Adamson) unknowingly backed over him with his car on the way out. Prior to this, Billy made a hefty bet that he failed to pay up on.

Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Stitch (Sean Carrington) — who’s wedding was postponed due to Ashley’s ailment rung in the New Year right. The two tied the knot afront several Newmans and Abbotts. Shortly after, they sealed the deal in the bedroom as Mr. and Mrs. Rayburn. The two eventually realized they were going to be late to their honeymoon.
