Miguel Ferrer passed away at 61 after a battle with throat cancer. The popular actor was known, among other things, for his role on Twin Peaks as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield. Will he still appear in the new season of Twin Peaks that premieres on May 21 on Showtime?

Yes, it appears that Ferrer will still be seen on Twin Peaks when the new season airs. He had already wrapped up his episodes before he passed away, Deadline reported. He was one of the very first actors to sign on for the new series.

Twin Peaks finished filming in April and will have 18 episodes on Showtime.

Ferrer also has more episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles that are going to air. His character on NCIS was also portrayed as battling a serious illness. He joined the show in 2012.
