Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds Memorial: What Time Is the Service?

Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds’ public memorial is taking place today, Saturday, March 25. The memorial will begin at 1 p.m. PST (4 p.m Eastern). The memorial will be at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, where Fisher and Reynolds are buried. The cemetery has a 1,200 seat theater for guests. The public is invited to attend. Those who can’t find seats will be able to sit in a lobby overflow room or outside, where there will be screens to watch and hear the service. Here are more details about the event:

A special song by James Blunt will be played, alongside a video montage, in tribute to Carrie Fisher.

Carrie Fisher’s dog, Gary, and her parrot, Archie, will be there.

In addition to Blunt’s song, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles will perform, along with dancers from the Debbie Reynolds Studio. Costumes and memorabilia will be on display.

After the memorial, the public will be able to visit their final resting space and pay personal tributes.
