Chris Rock is known for his candor, and the proved this yet again in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.

The comedian discussed his upcoming tour, his perspective on the current state of politics in America, and most, notably his recent divorce from his wife Malaak Compton-Rock. “Getting divorced, you have to f***ing start over,” he told Rolling Stone, “You get to reset. It’s not a breakdown, but something in your life broke down.” He also admitted to his infidelities during the marriage, calling himself a “piece of sh*t” and claiming that he felt that has the main breadwinner of the family, he was entitled to do so.

Based on the other comments he made, however, it seems as though Rock has changed his tune and feels as though he was in the wrong: “Your significant other, if they really love you, has a high opinion of you, and you let them down… I wasn’t a good husband a lot of the times.” Rock also said that he cheated on Malaak with three different women– “One famous, one semi-famous, and one a member of the retail class.” Needless to say, fans have been curious as to who the famous woman in question could have been.

According to Page Six, the woman was Emmy-nominated actress Kerry Washington. A source close to Rock had this to say on the matter: “He was cheating on his wife with Kerry when they were filming I Think I Love My Wife (2007) about him, ironically, having fantasies of cheating on his wife. That went on for a while, for like six months, and she found out. There’s no grey area.” The two had previously worked together on the 2002 thriller Bad Company. The source goes on to say that while they remain friends, Washington ceased any romantic action upon finding out about Rock’s infidelity. In 2013, the Scandal actress was married to former football player Nnamdi Asomugha, and the couple have two children together, Isabelle, 3, and Caleb, 8 months.

As for Rock, who divorced from Malaak in 2016 after twenty years together, he feels that it is important to maintain a good relationship for for the sake of their daughters Lola, 14, and Zahra, 12. “It’s not fair,” he told Rolling Stone, “I have a mic and she doesn’t. God forbid people are bugging her in the supermarket. That’s not cool. I’m going to have to see her at weddings and graduations.” Rock is currently in a relationship with actress Megalyn Echikunwoke. When asked if he would ever consider marriage again, he joked “Would I ever get married again? Not if it would cure AIDS.”
