Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry may have a third baby daddy named Chris Lopez in the mix, but she is also rumored to have a new boyfriend named Dionisio Cephas. According to OK! Magazine, Cephas previously told Radar Online that the two were “just friends,” but he supposedly implied there could be more between them in the future. Cephas reportedly said, “We aren’t dating yet. Time will tell.” In May 2017, Lowry was seen with Cephas shirtless in Los Angeles and that same month, her third baby daddy was revealed, as reported by Daily Mail. See a photo of Cephas below.
Lowry confirmed that Chris Lopez was the father of her third child on Twitter. As far as Lopez goes, he wasn’t a fan of being in the spotlight, so he wasn’t shown on Teen Mom 2. A source also told In Touch Weekly in August 2017, “Kailyn is praying that Chris has a change of heart and he will want to be a dad after the baby is born. Kail’s own father upped and left when she was really young, so she knows what it’s like to grow up without a dad, and she really doesn’t want the same for her baby.” On Teen Mom 2, it appears that Lowry may be raising her third child solo. The source also added, “Chris has said he wants nothing to do with Kailyn or his child, but she’s hoping against hope that he will change his mind once he sees photos of the baby. Kailyn doesn’t have any desire to get back with Chris romantically, but she thinks it’s really important for their child to have him in his or her life. The thought of her baby having to grow up without a father to guide and love him or her absolutely breaks Kailyn’s heart.”
Last month, Lowry talked about the parenting dynamics when it comes to Lopez. She explained to People, “It’s just kind of hard. The dynamics are different between me and Chris, than with me and Javi [Marroquin] or me and Jo [Rivera]. It’s a different kind of co-parenting. Right now, Baby Lo is so new that we’re trying to figure out what works for us.” Most recently, Radar Online reported that there were abuse claims against Lopez, in terms of his communication with Lowry. A production source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup that, “So far, the drama with Chris hasn’t really been covered for the show, but that’s only because it is hard to do when Chris won’t sign on to appear or have his name on ‘Teen Mom 2′.” Another source stated that, “Chris was violent with Kail multiple times, once while she was holding the baby … Some of the film crew noticed a hole was punched in Kail’s garage door, and she confided in someone on the crew that Chris did it … Kail is really trying to keep this off the show because of how bad she got ripped by fans last time when she was dealing with Javi.”
Lowry has confirmed to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup that she is currently keeping Lopez’s child away from him until he confirms paternity, which she says he has not. Lowry said, “I don’t want to keep Lux from Chris. That’s not the goal. The goal is to take some time right now to figure out what works for us. I’ve obviously been trhough this before and I do want Lux to eventually have a relationship with his dad. Right now the circumstances aren’t right for that, though.” In addition to Lowry’s personal relationships being in the spotlight, her ex-husband Javi Marroquin has been confirmed as dating Lowry’s Teen Mom 2 co-star Brianna DeJesus, according to E! News. Meanwhile, Lowry and Marroquin are currently appearing on the reality show Marriage Boot Camp to work on their co-parenting relationship. In an interview with People, Marroquin confirmed that he is dating DeJesus and DeJesus has posted photos with Marroquin online, captioning them with “Daddy Javi.” Though Marroquin’s dating one of Lowry’s co-stars probably isn’t going over well, he has said to Radar Online that he has her back when it comes to the claims about Lowry’s baby daddy Lopez.
