A variety of new Pokemon have been added to Pokemon Go, with a selection of baby Pokemon making their debut on Monday, December 12th. What are the stats of each of these new creatures?
So far, it has been verified that Pichu, Togepi, Igglybuff, Cleffa, Smoochum, Elekid, and Magby are now in Pokemon Go, and at the moment they can only be obtained through hatching eggs. It’s unknown if any other baby Pokemon are available, but hours after the new Pokemon were unveiled, those seven are the only ones that have been confirmed.
Among the new baby Pokemon, the one with the highest max CP is Smoochum. Unfortunately, though, this Pokemon can only be hatched from a 10km egg, and so you’ll have to put in quite a lot of effort into adding Smoochum to your inventory.
On the other hand, the Pokemon with the lowest max CP is Pichu, which can be obtained from a 5km egg. Cleffa is hatched from a 2km egg, but its stats are pretty good considering that it comes in the lowest-tier egg.
The new Pokemon are now available in the game, but it should be noted that you can only hatch them from new eggs, i.e. eggs you obtained on or after December 12th. If you have any eggs that you acquired before this week, it won’t be possible to hatch any of the new Pokemon from those eggs.
