Tapout, Silver Star Purchased by Toronto-based Jamie Salter
Jamie Salter and Authentic Brands Group LLC has agreed to purchase three popular MMA apparel brands. Of TapouT, Hitman Fight Gear and Silver Star Casting Co., Salter said the three are “some of the most exciting brands I’ve seen in years.” Salter also compares the potential of MMA with that of snowboarding 20 years ago.
How much the firm paid for the brands is unknown at this time.
