Pulver appears on television ahead of Saturday bout
Former UFC star and MMA veteran Jens Pulver will appear on G4TV’s “Attack of the Show.” Show correspondent Blair Butler will visit Pulver’s training camp at Curran Martial Arts in Chicago to train with the lightweight legend.
The episode airs today at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
Pulver, a former UFC champion, had fallen on hard times in recent years, but has rebounded in winning two of his last three fights.
Pulver will step into the cage at “MMA Fight Pit: Genesis” on Saturday night, where he’ll face Coty “Ox” Wheeler (14-3). Wheeler is also a former WEC competitor and has finished thirteen of his fourteen wins, with ten of those finishes coming by way of submission.
“MMA Fight Pit: Genesis” will air on pay per view on Saturday night and features several other intriguing bouts. Former UFC light heavyweight Houston Alexander takes on Razak Al-Hassan in the main event, while former TUF competitor Junie Browning takes on Jacob Clark.
