Ian McCall vs. Demetrious Johnson (Josh Hedges/UFC)

UFC Fight Club tickets on sale Wednesday, general public Friday

Tickets for UFC on FX: Johnson vs. McCall go on sale this week for anyone looking for MMA action in the Sunshine State this June.

The June 8 event marks the return of the Ultimate Fighting Championship to Florida for the first time since UFC Fight Night 17. The BankAtlantic Center in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Sunrise plays host.

The first opportunity to purchase tickets takes place at 10 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday. That on-sale date is exclusive to UFC Fight Club members. Twenty-four hours later, UFC newsletter subscribers will be able to purchase tickets. The pre-sales end on Friday at 10 a.m. Eastern, when tickets will be open to the general public.

UFC on FX 3 features a flyweight bout between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall, a rematch from their UFC on FX 2 bout last month that ended in a draw. The scorecards were, however, tabulated incorrectly, leading to the initial result giving Johnson the win and sending McCall storming out of the cage in disgust.

The winner of the bout will face off against Joseph Benavidez to determine the first UFC flyweight champion.

In addition to that main event, Josh Neer will face Mike Pyle, Erick Silva meets Charlie Brenneman, and fans can vote at ufc.com/hometownthrowdown for the fight that will kick off the televised card on the FX cable network. Fans can choose between Eddie Wineland vs. Scott Jorgensen, Mike Pierce vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha and Lance Benoist vs. Seth Baczynski.
