Buffer Earns Top Prize At Grand Slam Poker Event

Famed UFC announcer Bruce Buffer continues adding to his poker conquests.

Buffer took home first place and $75,000 in the main event of Larry Flynt’s Grand Slam of Poker. The event took place Tuesday at the Hustler Casino in Los Angeles, Ca.

“Took It Down n Won “1st Place” 4 plenty of $Cashola$ It’s 5:30 am, I’m happy n headin home,” Buffer tweeted early Tuesday morning.

Buffer, a semi-professional poker player, recently competed in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The WSOP is the most prestigious Texas Hold Em’ tournament in the world, with all entrants paying a $10,000 buy-in for the chance at the $8.94 million top cash prize. Buffer finished 478th out of 7,319 entrants and earned $27,519.

Buffer recently launched the Bruce Buffer Poker Room at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas with a media poker tournament won by Heavy’s very own Ryan Loco.
