Ernie Johnson won ‘Best Studio Host’ at the 2015 Sports Emmy Awards.
The Sports Emmy Awards are held each year recognizing the best of the best when it comes to on-air sports reporting and broadcasting talent. This year was a tough pill to swallow due to the death of long-time ESPN anchor Stuart Scott who courageously lost his battle with cancer back in January.
TBS and TNT sports anchor Ernie Johnson won the 2015 Sports Emmy award for “Best Studio Host.’ What ensues was awesome, as Johnson accepted the Award and on behalf of the sports media world, presented the Emmy Award to Taelor and Syndi, the daughters of the late Scott.
Johnson was praised by his colleagues and peers, and the event was well received on Twitter.
