Holders Sevilla enter Wednesday’s Europa League final as clear favorites against Ukraine side Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, but they are not taking anything for granted more than a trophy is on the line.
UEFA created a new incentive this year with the Europa League winner gaining automatic qualification to the Champions League group stages. Because Sevilla finished fifth in La Liga, they will need to win the Europa League for a second straight year to earn a spot.
The match will feature a clash of styles as defensive-minded Dnipro (10 goals conceded in 14 matches in the competition) will meet a Sevilla team that has scored 26 goals in their matches. Which will prevail?
