Though heavy underdogs in its last friendly, the United States men’s national team secured a stunning rally from 3-1 down to topple the Netherlands on Friday. The US gets another shot at a European heavyweight on Wednesday as Germany — the 2014 FIFA World Cup champions — welcomes the Stars and Stripes to Cologne.
Germany will be without top defender Mats Hummels, who pulled out of the squad with an injury. In addition to Hummels, goalie Manuel Neuer, midfielders Toni Kroos and Marco Reus and forward Thomas Muller were not included in the 20-man squad for the match. The weakend squad may have the United States thinking upset.
Germany beat Georgia 2-0 in its last match — a Euro 2016 qualifier — back in late March.

Heavy’s Pick
This Germany side is so weak, the United States could make it two wins out of two on this road trip. The ability to put four past the Netherlands should serve as a confidence booster against the No. 1 team in the world. There is a lot of value for betting both the United States and the draw. 2-2 Draw.
