Monday will be a slow day for actual baseball. That is, more business will be accomplished off the field rather than on. With only nine games on the schedule, most teams will spend the day on the phone as the trade deadline approaches. Fear not! Less games means more opportunities to cash in at Draftkings. Although the aces aren’t exactly on display Monday, here’s a solid roster to start your week with some easy cash.
Today’s Pitchers: Heston & Nova

Heston hasn’t been perfect this season, but he’s been much better in his last few starts. He brings a 0.42 ERA over his last 21 innings into a Monday night matchup with Milwaukee. The Brewers head to San Francisco after a four game series with Arizona in which they scored five total runs, and were shut out twice over the weekend.
As for Nova, he’s typically struggled against the Rangers in the past. To make matters worse, the Rangers are hitting .295 since the All-Star break, the best average in baseball. Nova has had his struggles, but looked great in his last start against Baltimore. If he can continue the momentum, he’ll be a great value for Monday.

Joey Votto takes his hot bat to St. Louis Monday, where he faces a great matchup against starter Lance Lynn. Votto has eight hits in 16 ABs against Lynn, and should continue his run as the best hitter in baseball post-break.
Michael Brantley has been good consistent play in the outfield, collecting seven hits in his last five games. Edinson Volquez has been hot lately, but Brantley has been a steady producer recently and should continue his output on Monday.
