The Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers were already two of the West’s premier teams, but a burgeoning rivalry took another step forward this summer when free agent DeAndre Jordan agreed to a new deal with the Mavs, only to change his mind and re-sign with the Clips instead.
Now, just one game into the season, we’ll see if there’s any stewing bad blood when the teams meet Thursday night at the Staples Center.
Both teams won their 2015-16 opener, with L.A. holding off the Sacramento Kings on the road, and a short-handed Dallas squad without Chandler Parsons routing the Phoenix Suns.
Tip for this one is 10:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TNT. If you can’t get to a TV, here’s how to watch online for free:

If you have the log-in info for a cable subscription with access to TNT, you can watch the game online via Watch TNT. You’ll need a cable log-in and password, or the log-in and password of someone you know, to access the stream.
