It was not the best day for Ohio State fans. Shortly after the Buckeyes were upset by the Spartans, Cardale Jones confirmed what many expected. Despite only being a junior, Jones has played his last home game at Ohio Stadium.

Ultimately, he opted to stay at Ohio State for one more season. While Jones began the 2015 season as the starting quarterback, Urban Meyer opted to start J.T. Barrett midway through the season.
CBS Sport’s Dane Brugler projects Jones as going anywhere between the second and fourth rounds of the draft. He has plenty of time to improve his stock through individual workouts and the combine.
