It could be winner-take-all Tuesday at the Bernabéu, when Real Madrid and PSG rematch in a battle of arguably the two best clubs on the planet. Both teams are looking to clinch Group A early and the winner, combined with a Malmo loss, would seal their trip to the Round of 16. At any rate, with both teams four points clear of Malmo, both teams will likely advance to the next round.
Losing hasn’t been common for Madrid or PSG this season. In fact, it hasn’t happened yet. Both teams are unbeaten in all competitions this season, and the two played to a scoreless draw two weeks ago. PSG manager Laurent Blanc said the same result “won’t be enough” this time around, and PSG is out to make a strong statement in the name of French football.
