The names don’t equal the same, but all that matters are results. And in the last 24 Premier League matches, West Brom have taken 30 points to Liverpool’s 31. The Baggies could pull ahead for number 25, when they head to Anfield to face a sputtering Liverpool team.

Liverpool is struggling with injuries, and the honeymoon phase with Jurgen Klopp is over. That was official last week, when Klopp’s men were beaten soundly by Newcastle United. Liverpool did manage to clinch the top spot in their EUROPA League qualifying group this week, although it came as the result of a scoreless draw.

Liverpool can turn it around today, especially with Phillipe Coutinho back in the lineup. The Brazilian had missed about three weeks with a hamstring, and tested the waters by coming on as a substitute during the week against Sion.
