Don’t look now, but the Chicago Blackhawks are on the brink of elimination.

The reigning Stanley Cup champions are sitting in a two-game hole in their postseason series against the St. Louis Blues and that makes tonight’s tilt decidedly must-win.

It hasn’t been a particularly dominant series for the Blackhawks, who opened up the playoffs with an OT loss and then gave up two goals in the first five minutes of the third period in Game 4 on Tuesday night. The Blues also have four power-play goals in seven chances in the last two games.

Those are ways to win a series and, right now, Chicago is teetering dangerously close to desperate when it comes to the squad’s collective on-ice performance. Under Joel Quenneville, the Hawks have played five series in which they’ve trailed three games to one, forcing a Game 7 three times. However, Chicago has won just one of those elimination games.

Puck drop for the game is slated for 9:30 p.m. ET and is being nationally broadcast on NBCSN. Don’t worry if you wont’ be near a TV though. We’ve got ways to stream the game online and on mobile:
