Game Preview: For both teams, all eyes were on the quarterback position this past offseason. The Redskins and Kirk Cousins failed to reach a long-term agreement as Cousins signed the franchise tender. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets had a standoff for most of the offseason as well.

The two sides finally reached an agreement on a one-year deal just prior to the start of training camp. The Jets offense is looking to recapture the magic it found last season with top receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker.

The Jets brought in veteran running back Matt Forte, but he is not expected to play tonight. Washington drafted TCU receiver Josh Doctson in the first round to add to Cousins weapons, but he will be held out as well.
