Jordan Howard’s Fantasy Value After Jeremy Langford Injury

Jeremy Langford left the Sunday Night Football game against the Cowboys with an ankle injury. The Bears turned to Jordan Howard making fantasy owners curious if he is someone they should be looking at on their waiver wire.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Langford will be out 4-6 weeks with a sprained ankle. This makes Howard a must-add in all fantasy league formats.

In limited action, Howard looked great against the Cowboys. Howard had nine carries for 45 yards and was involved in the passing game with four receptions for 47 yards. The talented rookie running back was drafted by the Bears in the 5th round. Even if Langford returns, Howard has looked like the much better back and has a chance of overtaking the lead back role for the season.

Howard played at UAB before the program was shut down. He then transferred to Indiana where he rushed for 1,213 yards and 12 touchdowns his junior season. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry.
