Looking for a live stream of tonight’s Mavericks-Pacers season opener? There are a handful of options, depending on where you live and whether you have cable.

The best option for fans in most areas is NBA League Pass, which is offering a free trial through November 1. League Pass games are subjected to blackout restrictions in areas where a team’s local broadcast is available through a cable provider, so it’s not an option for people in the Dallas or Indiana regions. Fans in both areas can watch their respective Fox Sports regional broadcasts (FS Southwest for the Mavericks, FS Indiana for the Pacers) on Sling TV, which also offers a free trial. Mavericks-Pacers Preview

After winning an Olympic gold medal in Rio de Janeiro this summer, Paul George will lead an Indiana Pacers team pegged by many as one capable of making a major move within the East. The Pacers open their regular season at home against the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday night. In addition to George, the Pacers have a new point guard in former Atlanta Hawk Jeff Teague and young big man Myles Turner could be in line for a breakout season after playing well as a rookie.

As for Dallas, they’re still led by Dirk Nowitzki but the additions of Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut mean that their rotation will have a much different look. The Mavs were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season, and they’re hoping to be more of a factor out west in 2016-17.
