Getty Dak Prescott is hoping the Cowboys offense picks up where it left off.
The Dallas Cowboys have one of the earliest starts to training camp. Rookies report to camp on July 19, while the veterans report on July 22.
As has been the tradition, the 2017 Cowboys training camp is in Oxnard, California where thousands of fans hungry for football flock each year. The first practice open to the public is July 24. For many Cowboys fans, training camp can not get here soon enough as the off-season has been filled with suspensions and off-field concerns.
The latest involved Ezekiel Elliott who is being accused of punching someone in the face at a Dallas bar. Elliott is also awaiting word on a possible suspension in the NFL.
The rookies expected to report to camp before the vets include Taco Charlton, Chidobe Awuzie, Jourdan Lewis, Ryan Switzer, Xavier Woods, Joey Ivie, Noah Brown and Jordan Carrell. After addressing the offense early in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Cowboys went defense with their first three picks in the 2017 draft.
Training camp concludes on August 17. Dallas’ final preseason game is on August 31 against the Texans.
Dallas kicks off the NFL preseason against Arizona on August 3rd in the Hall of Fame Game. The Cowboys open up the regular season against the Giants on September 10.
