Microsoft Play Lets You Play Xbox 360 Games On Windows 8 Devices

Microsoft Studios has announced the launch of Play, a new service that brings Xbox Live Arcade games directly to PCs, smartphones, or tablets running Windows  8 and Windows RT. Right now the list of games available is limited, but the service looks to expand its game library in the near future.


The full list of games includes:

  • Toy Soldiers: Cold War
  • Elements: Special Edition
  • Hydro Thunder Hurricane
  • Rocket Riot 3D
  • Reckless Racing Ultimate
  • Microsoft Solitaire Collection
  • Microsoft Mahjong
  • Microsoft Minesweeper
  • Taptiles
  • Adera
  • Pinball FX2
  • Wordament
  • Gunstringer: Dead Man Running
  • Ilomilo+
  • Skulls of the Shogun.


The new Play service will allow you to connect with your Xbox Live friends, and keep features such as multi-player, game saves and leaderboards.
