Notre Dame put up a dominant performance and held off a late Georgia Tech rally to win 30-22. DeShone Kizer had a nice debut as starting quarterback for Notre Dame. He was 21-of-30 for 231 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The Irish were led by running back C.J. Prosise had 22 carries for 198 yards and three touchdowns. Georgia Tech was largely inefficient on offense until they launched a late fourth quarter rally. It was too little too late for the Yellow Jackets.

New quarterback DeShone Kizer connected with Will Fuller for the long touchdown bomb. Fuller has been the heart of the Irish offense so far this season. It was a nice start for Kizer early on.
