Tuesday’s NBA schedule is a busy one, with there being nine games including Houston facing the defending champion Cavaliers in Cleveland. The start time for the game has been moved up to 6:00 p.m., allowing fans to not miss much of Game 6 of the World Series. And in this game there will be two MVP candidates on display, with guard James Harden leading the way for the Rockets and LeBron James doing the same for Cleveland. But if Houston’s to leave with a victory they’ll need more than just Harden, as the Cavaliers can counter with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love among their many scoring options.
Also playing Tuesday night are the Utah Jazz, who visit the Spurs in San Antonio. A trendy pick to contend in the West, the Jazz have found life without the injured Gordon Hayward to be a bit more difficult than some may have expected when it was announced that he would miss time with a broken finger. Tonight’s game will be another quality test for Quin Snyder’s Jazz, who have already lost road games to the Blazers and Clippers.
And speaking of the Blazers, they host Golden State in a rematch from last season’s playoffs. Golden State won that series in five games, and given the talent in the floor for both teams this should be an entertaining nightcap. Below is Tuesday’s schedule, complete with game times and television listings. All times are Eastern.
