Worthey was a publicist for the Cowboys and the two met at the team’s practice facility.

Aikman played his entire career with the Cowboys, playing from 1989 to 2000 and winning three Super Bowls. A year after retiring, he joined Joe Buck in the announcing booth for Fox Sports. Super Bowl LI will be his fifth Super Bowl as a color commentator.

Aikman and Worthey announced plans to separate in January 2011, after almost 11 years of marriage.

“This has been a difficult decision for Rhonda and me, but after 10 years of marriage we have decided to separate,” Aikman said in a statement at the time. “We remain deeply committed to our children and respectfully ask that you honor our family’s privacy during this period of adjustment.”

Aikman kept the divorce proceedings as private as he could. TMZ reported in November 2011 that the divorce was finalized in April 2011. The site reported at the time that Aikman and Worthey began splitting their assets two months before they separated. She later bought a $1.5 million home in Dallas.

4. A Year After the Divorce, Worthey Was Arrested for Public Intoxication

In August 2012, a year after the divorce, Worthey was arrested for public intoxication in a Texas high school parking lot. According to TMZ, police officers said they saw two water bottles that appeared to be filled with alcohol in her vehicle. When she was arrested, Worthey reportedly yelled to the cops, “Do you know what this is gonna do to him? Troy?”

Worthey was charged with public intoxication and pleated no contest in exchange for 30 days probation.

“This is a good result for everybody and puts the matter to bed once and for all,” Worthey’s lawyer told TMZ.

It’s not known if the two are still dating. It was reported by Bused Coverage that the two attended Joe Buck’s wedding together.
