The fourth-ever World Baseball Classic starts March 6 and will bring together the world’s best baseball players from 16 nations. It takes place from March 6-22 in four host countries.
The United States has never won a World Baseball Classic championship. Its best finish was fourth place out of 16 nations in 2009. This year, Team USA has brought a lot of firepower and stands is the favorite to win the event.
The Dominican Republic won the last World Baseball Classic in 2013.
